It’s A Knockout for Public Fun Day’s
We attended our first public funday over the August Bank Holiday weekend after a long break away of almost two years. The Messingham Festival (or MessFest-2021) had lots going on on the day including bands, displays, funfair, circus skills, and ‘It’s A Knockout’ of course!

We provided our Bronze Show for the day which has seven games. You can see it set up in the top image. During the day we ran sessions of the games for children’s teams and then for adult teams. The weather stayed dry for the day which is always a bonus.
The Teams.
The teams were made up of local people and children taking part. The games we laid on included our usual great games that use inflatables, bubbles and water. The only games omission at the moment is that we are not running costume games because of the pandemic. Over the last few months we’ve been supplying sets of games for various school and summer school days which have been ran covid-secure (see our separate blog on covid-secure games).
Public Fun Days and Town & Village Shows.
Our sets of games are excellent for public days. Businesses can be invited to sponsor the games and local residents, clubs and businesses invited to take part. It all makes a great community event.
