It’s always a mix of emotions when writing these blogs. It’s fun to look back over our 2025 season, the photos, reminiscing over some funny situations we have witnessed. There’s a bit of sadness that another year is ending. But there’s also the buzz of organising exciting things to come for next year.
2025 Was A Colourful Year
Firstly, it’s been a great year for dressing up! Teams are getting very clever with their costumes. We think we have seen it all but, obviously have underestimated the imagination of our contestants. Together with our new game “The Rowdy Raptors”, this year have been extremely colourful. There are some examples of the team costumes in our August blog, “It’s A Knockout Teams 2025”. Do you think you can better them?
Charities
With charities returning for more frolicking fun this year, including a visit to Jersey. Many of our charity clients have reported good fundraising profits this year, which is fantastic. Most charities have suffered because since Covid-19, but feel they are now recovering. They say that by making changes to the support they offer and the way raise & use funds, they are finally looking forward and upwards. The feedback we’ve had from the charity event organisers is that their contestants had an amazing and fun day. And they can’t wait for next year’s event.
Schools
2025, as usual it’s been another busy year for our school events. Where students have competed for either sports days, reward days or team building days for 6th formers. Students and teachers alike have loved these days this year. And we can give advice on how schools can fund & organise these events. As with every year, the end of summer term dates go very quickly, as many schools book a year in advance.
Looking forward to 2026
We are in the process of putting together an advice pack for those who would like to host a charity event. This will be an amazing tool, if you’re not sure how to organise or increase your fundraising for your “It’s A Knockout” event. With input from charity event organisers who have excelled at raising money with us in the past. We are confident that we can help you have a successful event. So, keep a look out for that in 2026, and if you think you have something that would be of interest or benefit to others that we can add to the pack, please contact us.
